Fast, fun and great camera quality.
2 of 2 found this helpful The drone is small enough to be portable and large enough to fly in the wind. It has a decent flight time. I have gotten 18-20 minutes consistently with heavy use (High altitude, camera movement, high speed passes) before it warns me that it will auto return. Which is a great feature. It tells you when you are getting out of range, low on battery or when the connection is failing and it will give you a timer before it auto-returns to home.
Forget flying it with the phone and use the controller. Why bother; it's just better. The app is great for using the phone as a monitor for flight data and selecting the myriad of customization options from flight characteristics, limits, camera controls and much more.
The video and photo quality are top notch. Clear vids and pics in great lighting and GPS stabilized flight makes all your images come out perfect. Low light video suffers a bit.
This unit could benefit from some collision avoidance features and lights. There are no orientation lights so once it's high or far enough out of sight you can find it. There is one blinking blue light on the bottom but none on the rotor arms or on the front nor rear. To be fair, it does have ground avoidance, so it won't let you just slam it into the ground on a landing: it will descend to 3 feet even if you try to 'stick down' on the controller.
This is a great product. Quiet, smooth, reliable, and fast.
