Wingnut Wings!!
I love these Wingnut Wings kits! It is unfortunate that the company went out of business during the pandemic. The kits are accurate, exquisitely molded, and build into beautiful showpieces. Some folks just collect the kits because they are so valuable since the demise of the manufacturer, but I buy to build! Since they are becoming harder to get, the price has soared, but I, for one, am willing to pay it for a superior product.

Gorgeous, large scale model of a large scale battleship!!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful Beautiful large scale model of a large battleship!! Hundreds of parts, sheets of PE (photoetch) for railings and other details. There is also a motorization kit available for R/C! It looks like it will take me, an experienced modeler, about a year to finish this baby! It's not for the beginner!

Not Guynemer's N17
The problem with the model is that it is NOT an accurate representation of Guynemer's Nieuport, "Old Charles." Guynemer's plane had a spinner on the propeller which is not in the kit. It also had a myriad of modifications done either by the French ace, or by his ground crew. The kit reflects none of these. It's just a standard Nieuport 17. Also, the parts count is low. Cockpit, engine, and weapons detail is minimal. The kit is inexpensive compared to, a Roden, or Wingnut Wings equivalent, but it should be, since it falls far short of their standards.
