Bernina 180E

I have owned a Bernina 180E (E=embroidery) for more than 10 years. This machine is easy to use and makes a beautiful stitch. The 9mm capability allows for very large decorative stitching and is great when a wide zigzag is needed. On the embroidery unit, one of the things that I like is the rectangular hoop. Bernina has gone to an oval shape on newer models but I prefer the full width of the rectangular hoop. The one problem I have had with my 180 is that the needle threader has broken 3 times. The last time the dealer installed a new style needle threader which is sturdier and is wonderful. The needle threader is not an expensive repair should it need to be replaced.
