Great Travel Lens
It is a good “travel” lens as it has a large range of zoom. The picture quality is very good for this price point. I just wish it was a faster lens — biggest f-stop is 3.5 and gets smaller as you increase the zoom. However, to get a faster lens with this amount of zoom you would have to pay many hundreds of dollars more. So just complement this lens with a 50mm f 1.4 and you have all the bases covered.

Quality Built
It looks to be quality-built. I haven't used it in the cold yet, but the quilted fabric looks like it will keep out the cold winds very well. It is a perfect size for two. The door zipper is strong. The bottom (snow) skirt is hefty not flimsy.
