Great to still find DVD players built into TVs!

I use the DVD player mainly for CDs as I have the TV wired to my amp. The HDMI input (one of them at least) has ARC capability (audio return connection) so the amp plays whatever is on the screen, even when playing DVD or CD. The JVC remote also magically adjusts the Denon amp volume which is great. The headphone output's volume is controlled by a separate menu setting, which is odd and confusing but makes sense if you're using it as an additional line out. But I have had an odd thing where the TV speakers play at max when the amp is put into standby... You're dashing for the remote which then doesn't have any effect on the volume! I haven't been able to investigate any solution to this quirk, as to investigate I'd have to subject my neighbours to a few minutes TV at maximum volume! But overall I'm very happy with this TV. Has all the connections you need these days (except SCART) but only one of each (but two HDMI)
