ST6000 RB
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought to replace a pair of much loved but completely knackered GT3500 Aero baitrunners after 20 years+ service. If these are the latest BUDGET Mid-size Shimano Baitrunners I'd love to own their top end stuff. The ST6000RB is very well built from quality materials (XT-7) and are very, very smooth - exactly as you would come expect from any Shimano reel. I simply cannot fault them for the price. The clutch is very smooth and precise with no snatching, bail arm trip is very positive, line roller works smoothly and there is absolutely no backlash in anti-reverse whatsoever. Here's to another 20+ years of fishing with a pair of great reels - thanks Shimano. :-)

Best of both worlds....
The only drawback of these pedals is the weight, they are a bit heavy hence only 4 stars. Other than that they are great - allowing you to clip in securely when either on the road or riding fast on rutted and bumpy surfaces and then be able to flip the pedal over for a wide platform pedal when you might need to put a foot down quickly on a steep climb or descent.
