Cleaned gutters in 10 minutes
1 of 1 found this helpful We have a cabin in the Pocono mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania, 40 feet by 24 feet surrounded by red maple and red oak trees. So I have 80 feet of gutters to clean. Hooked up the new Echo kit to my Echo PB-2100 and blew them all out in 10 minutes. Used to take me 30-40 minutes of dragging a step ladder around to clear them all. The weight of the extension does alter the balance of the blower and the force of the airstream pushes the extension backward (basic physics, right?). So it takes a bit of muscle-power and upper body strength to control. But I’m no wimp, even at 70., and I had no problem after the first minute or so of getting used to it. That said, this kit does take some effort to control and use beyond the normal blowing leaves around a driveway. If it didn’t, then it wouldn’t have the power needed to blow out the gutters. Bottom line, it works great! Saves time and stepladder work.
