For Hasselblad Bright Focusing Screen 45° Split Image 500 501CM 503CX 200 Series

inexpensive backup, doesn't compare to Acute-matte

These are fine as a backup for a Hasselblad Acute-matte focusing screen, but they are not at all comparable. The fresnel pattern intrudes on the image quite a lot and illumination is weak away from the center. In addition the metal frame around the screen (on the one I received, at least) is poorly shaped and doesn't really fit the recess in the camera properly, so it has to be pushed in with some force and needs to be pushed out from inside the camera body to remove it. That said, it costs less than 10% of what a Hasselblad screen costs, and it's worth having on as a backup in the event the original is damaged or broken.
