Pontiac finally on the right track
8 of 8 found this helpful I have rented these several times, as I travel a lot and need rentals. This car is the next generation Grand Am, and yet it is night and day from the old Grand Am...
Let me start by saying I am no great fan of GM. I haven't personally owned a GM product on over 15 years because their styling and quality have been very sub-par compared to import competition. That being said, it appears that with the G6, GM is finally starting to "get it".
The interior of the G6 looks and feels of a much higher quality than previous Pontiac models, rivaling Toyota and Honda for the first time in decades. The V6 is smooth and sounds powerful, but not overly sporty. Appearance of the interior and exterior are wonderful, as the best looking mid-size Pontiac I have personally seen in a VERY long time. Interior is roomy, with a decent trunk.
All in all, when I am in the market to replace my personal car, I will actually be adding Pontiac to my list of cars to potentially buy. Good job, GM, and keep on the right track!
