Whiteheart Rocks!!!
The group suffered a loss that it never recovered from. Its too bad that they never received the recognition they deserved. google or yahoo them and look for you tube. There is a bunch of videos to be enjoyed that fans have left for those of us that never got the chance to see them in concert. Whiteheart Rocks for the Rock of Ages.
The Holiness of God by R. C. Sproul (1998, Hardcover, Revised)

A well written book
R.C. Sproul is a professor of theology and a student as well as a teacher of philosophical thought. In spite of all that, this book is a fast paced, heart felt look at a subject he has a passion for. Another book on the subject that he (RC) recommends is, Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges.
The Consequences of Ideas: Understanding the Concepts that Shaped Our World

Consequences of Ideas
Written in 2000, R.C. Sproul is a scholar that can speak to the common man and not leave him feeling intimidated nor that the subject was dumbed down so one could handle it. As he said in the introduction, "This book is written not for the philosophy scholars but for laypersons - albeit educated laypersons. I hope it serves as an enticing foretaste for future study of theoretical thought." It has! I first heard him speak on the subject over the radio. I found audio files and listened again and again to RC's treatise of the Consequences of Ideas. He mentions related subjects, ie Pragmatism, Existentialism and a half dozen other ism's. Knowing there is no replacement for reading and study, I got the book. I highly recommend it and don't miss hearing R. C. Sproul's recordings.
