BEST CP product in the market
1 of 1 found this helpful There are several similar products in the market like TANITA 612, 622, OMRON 701, etc.
I have a OMRON one but quickly changed to this one.
Compared bwteen TANITA BC622 and OMRON 701, TANITA can measure water rate so the body fat will more stable than Omron one. And body fat value of OMRON will little bit higher than TANITA (18% vs 19.x% around 1% to 1.5%). At the same time the muscle will less than TANITA (the OMRON use % but TANITA use KG. The Basal metabolism will less than TANITA, 1790 vs 1755).
Which means that, TANITA will more stable than OMRON one. Also, I believe TANITA body fat value will more accurate because I measure the fat thickness and that indicate my body fat around 18%

Some kinds of quality issue
The item shipped VERY FAST than expected! Only 4 days received the item, amazing...
I met the problem that the weight value some time never read so the body fat also cannot been shown.
Tried someway to figure it out, I found that due to the handler of hand part shork will cause the problem.
So I have disassembly the handler part, and check the electroinic part, there is one capacitor NOT been welded. After I weld it myself, everything works well.
For the device itself, it is good, easy to use, solid body, dection is fast. For body fat and muscle value, the muscle value very stable so far so good. Body fat value sometime will very high if you lacking of water.
