WARNING!
I'm afraid this item is a complete rip off. The heating element is so weak it couldn't keep anything warm. I could barely feel any heat with my hand. The pad area is really too small for the American coffee mug. But those Chinese make everything too small.
Anyway, this thing doesn't work. Purchase at your own risk. :-)

Works as described
Excellent! Fits perfectly for a replacement battery and works very well.
I will re-buy again when necessary.

Quality could be better.
Quality could be better. The lid doesn't fit very well. Aside from that this thing is HEAVY. It will not move around on you while mixing the paint and I like that about it. It's made of thick porcelain with a smooth shiny surface. The wells are nice and big giving you plenty of mixing room.
Over all, it's a great mixing palette. I recommend it to anyone who wants a heavy solid stable mixing palette.
