Makes square wire on a budget
I got this to make square wire for inlay into metal, so my main criterion was that it makes small wire. Check. Is it calibrated? Not really... it transitions from diagonal measurement to square measurement somewhere around 1mm, so don’t expect it to match your calipers. Is it precise? Mostly. There’s a few spots where the drawing dies feel like they’re about the same size as the last one instead of just slightly smaller like they should be. Overall, it works. I’ve run silver and bronze wire from the largest to the smallest holes on this plate, and it does make the metal square with a reasonable surface finish. A few dies leave lines, but mostly bright and shiny. I think I have to anneal more often than normal (with a round die plate), but that might just be down to the shape.

Works OK if you're willing to modify.
I've only tried this product with .458 socom, so these comments may not apply to other calibers.
if you live in an area that has a 10-round magazine limit, you'll need a 3/8" thick spacer inside the floorplate to prevent holding 11 rounds.
the tab at the back of the follower that engages the bolt hold-open catch isn't long enough. bolt hold open after last round does not function unless you add an extension to the follower.
fits well in USGI aluminum mags, fits hexmags with minor filing.

Does what it should.
Reduces recoil considerably.
