Stringer/Player
The strings were put into a racket of a hard hitting young lady Wilson K-Factor mid size racket strung at 54#. It is now her string of choice. She had some arm pain with copolly strings, but has had none with the Hexy Fibre. She breaks out the string in a couple of months of play (playing two to three times a week). She hits with top spin but at a moderate level. She has a very hard serve.
Older male player (me) that plays with gut indoor uses the Hexy Fibre for outdoor play. Volkl DNX 10 98 size racket strung at #51. I have been trying to find a string that will play similar to gut (used in Winter) for the summer outdoor play. With most string it took time to adjust if I ever did really adjust. With the Hexy Fibre there seems to be minimal adjustment. I hit with a minimal amount of top spin to what some may call flat. I typically use second serves to save may arm, but when I do hit a first serve the racket has plenty of power. So power and control are both present with the is string. I play 3 to 4 times a week in the summer and did not break out the strings in 3 months of play.
I like the string and will continue to use them. The strings seem to be worth the extra cost over syn-gut and are a lower price multi-fiber. The string get hit marks from me on power, control, durability and price.
