Extra power hammer spring solved light strike problem
1 of 1 found this helpful I used this in a New Freedom Armory Lower with a plastic hammer. Sure I could of put in a metal hammer but the whole point was to see if I could make the plastic one work. The original hammer spring caused too light primer strikes; when used with a 7.62x29 upper the primer was not igniting about 50 percent of the time. I changed to the Wolff XP spring and it solved the problem.

Inexpensive and easy to use.
Very easy to use, just have to remember to have a 1/16 hex key handy to loosen the set screw found in many sights, otherwise pushing the sight out might be a bit harder than it should be. I received the tool 2 days ago and replaced my old Glock night sights yesterday very easily. Took it to the range today to tweak the sights a bit and got things right quickly. One of the guys at the range also used it to tweak up his sights, I believe a Kimber, very quickly. This tool is a keeper and will stay in my range bag.
