The Twins
1 of 1 found this helpful A couple of years ago, I ordered the BaitCast version of this rod. I can’t seem to get the timing down on casting them and so I put a spinning reel on it and immediately liked the balanced feel when casting. I wanted to add another rod to my collection and saw this spinning reel and couldn’t wait to order it. It doesn’t des not disappoint.

Slick lookin axe
The rod arrived quickly and I waited a day or two before unboxing it. I had thought the color on the listing appeared to be a grayish purple, but not a deal breaker. I put it together and immediately decided I really liked it. I’m so glad I waited to open it or it’s entirely possible that I would have called in sick for work to go break it in. Crisis averted! I’ve got the weekend off and plenty of free time to see how it stands up to trout, drum, catfish and those pesky crabs. See you on Monday!
