Repair-proof
2 of 20 found this helpful The good folks at Apple have done their best to make this unit repair-proof. Ir you want to try replacing this battery, consult a couple of different web sites for advice. You will find that the plastic pry bars supplied are far too flimsy and that a variety of tools is needed. Once you've got it open (minus a few of the tabs) you will find that the battery is GLUED DOWN to the body. The ribbon cable to the 'lock' switch runs under the battery and it's hard to see how the battery could be removed without breaking this cable. Yes, it's a whiz-bang unit, but can it be repaired and is it worth trying?

Chemex + Bonavita: perfect match
I brew my Chemex coffee at 140 F, so I was very pleased to find a kettle that had this preset temperature and would hold it. I was also pleased at how quickly it came up to temp.
