Shimano QuickFire Affordable One Finger Casting
Not the top of the line QuickCast Spirex but just a little step down I think. Used this reel for about 5 hours the other day and it was smooth functioning other than a bit tight when cranking the bail closed. Well balanced on my Loomis Trout rod. For a $30 reel it worked as good as there $200+ reels. Not sure how or what you really get that will help you fish with a $200 reel. This reel is great and affordable. Get out and get casting with this Shimano QuickFire II REEL. Its well built you wont be disappointed.

Spirex 2000
Great quickfire reel. Very smooth cast and retrieve. It definitely does hold a candle to some of Shimano‘s top of the line reels. Well built with good components. It does it’s job flawlessly cast after cast I have had no issues out of it no snags or hiccups. It’s just a great reel. If you can pick up a spirex get one now because the Spirex line is one the collectors are after it’s it’s going up in value

Cast Master
This is my first casting reel. Figured I needed to get a better than average one. I love the feel of the reel. Top-notch components were used to build it. Now I just have to get through the learning curve. I’ve got nothing but birds nests every cast so far. Got to learn how to adjust the break and drop drag thing.  hopefully I pick it up quickly because I really want to use a Casting set up. I went and got me a 6 foot G Loomis custom rod “ I KNOW I KNOW DIDN’T NEED SUCH AN EXPENSIVE ROD “ For a beginner caster.
