Excellent Reissue!
1 of 1 found this helpful As with most of these 2014 Kiss reissues, this one was done very well. The mastering was comparable to the original pressing. Didn't seem enhanced a bunch, but it definitely didn't sound squashed or muddy at all by no means. My copy is dead quite with almost zero surface noise, which was almost shocking to me when playing the first few I bought. Most of these reissues have been extremely clean, centered, flat, and all around well pressed. Which was a relief, considering I've had a few "new" other albums (different artists) that were somewhat noisey, had vocal sibilance problems, out of center, and even slightly warped! I've even opened up a couple new albums that literally had finger prints on the play surface! But none of that with these New Kiss albums! The packaging is almost dead on to the original pressings, complete with proper inner sleeve reproductions, inserts, tattoos, posters etc....(with the exception of the original order forms). The only complaint I can give, is some of the original Kiss album covers had glossy sheens (this being one of them), but ALL of these reissues have a matte finish to them. With the shrinkwrap still on, it's almost unnoticeable. But, with the gatefold covers (like with this album) I usually remove the shrinkwrap to gaze apon the cover while listening. Then when done, put a clear plastic protective slipcover over it while it is on the shelf. This really only matters to the most picky, nostalgic collectors like myself. All in all, these 2014 reissues are a long hoped for wish come true for me! They did a great job both with the remastering and packaging! They obviously took the time to make each album as close as they could to the original pressing experience with some upgrading in some instances, such as the vinyl thickness and remastering. Two thumbs up all the way!!!

Fun little arcade! to my surprise, very playable!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I was really surprised how playable this lil’ guy is! I thought for sure my fingers would get in the way of the screen, but no, not at all. It’s not arcade perfect by no means. But for a tiny, gimmicky little arcade cabinet, I find myself playing it all the time to pass time here and there. Love it! I’ve bought a couple others too- Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. Probably will grab other ones as I see them.

Good for what it is
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a neat idea if executed just a bit better! But at this price point it's really hard to complain too much. I've noticed a bunch of other reviewers complaining about the controllers. At first mine seemed a bit touchy too, but what i found after using it awhile that I'm not so sure it's the controllers themselves, but the emulation and programming. I found that on quite a few games I had no issues at all where on a couple (burger time, PAC-man) it could act erratic at times! But on Super MARIO, Contra, Popeye and most others they work perfectly! Go figure! I was considering trying to figure out the wire schematics and wire up an original Nintendo controller to use, but after using the packed in one for a while, I don't believe it's the controller itself that is the issue. Also note- even though it uses the same type of plug in as a genesis controller, they are not wired the same!!! So a Genesis controller does not work with this unit!!! All in all, there's enough good games that play well in this unit to be well worth the $30+ cost of it, but don't expect every game to play as it would on a regular Nintendo. Some just don't control right! It's only a few, but it can be a bit frustrating when it's one you really like! Also it says 500 games- nope, it's more like 350 then 150 repeated games! So if you know what your getting before you get it, it might be not as much as a bummer as when I ran into the few that didn't control right. There's about 30-40 games in this thing I love playing, and a bunch of "fillware". But those 30-40 games that are great make it still worth it to me! And it looks neat if you missed out on a real nes classic like I did!
