We've been using this to filter our tap water and have a very noticeable chlorine smell when taking the top off to refill, chlorimine was the major reason for purchasing. We opted to not use the included stand however, as I find it wobbles too much for my liking and just have it sitting in the counter. 1 gasket was deformed a little from packing at the manufacturer but doesn't affect performance.
