Great Series with some missed opportunities Rare now.
I've loved this series for over a decade now as it has gorgeous overhead shots of great parts of Europe especially Cathedrals and Roman/Greek monuments as well as beautiful nature shots. The blurays have the additional benefit of being able to turn off the generally inane and in some cases offensive(anti-Catholic bigotry of toperoff/WLIW) narration and just enjoy the wonderful music. The music is a mixture of excellent classical and some interesting local and regional music and I recommend getting the Visions of Britian and Ireland set. Blurays are 1080i here but it's 6x the resolution of the 480i DVDs worth the extra money if you have the capability to handle blurays. Overall excellent but this really needed Spain/Portugal and Switzerland as they are a huge gaping hole in the series instead of the inane state of israel and NYC as well as Puerto Rico. Overall well worth it if you like relaxing and visually stunning out of your video entertainment experience.
