One of the most interesting times in American aviation history

Mr. Stringer not only details the history of the "13 local service carriers," but includes "gone but not forgotten" airlines. Extremely well written and illustrated by genuine airline historian who once worked for one of the locals and now writes for the new spectacular Airways Magazine. This book is perfect for any airline collector or enthusiast. I highly recommend it.
