Exact replacement
My Craftsman Lawn Tractor is 17 years old but is working great except for the grill that broke from age at the support connection. The flaw in the grill design is that the metal support arms bolt to the back plastic fins of the grill. It should have bolted to the metal hood instead since in time, the plastic becomes brittle and cracks at the critical support points. This replacement grill was brand new and a perfect fit. It has the feel of a rubber that is somewhat flexible which is probably the way the original grill was when the mower was new. This grill looks like it will be good for the next 17 years.
