Smoky glass
I slightly misread the description. This is translucent glass and a beautiful, well-made item. I can still use it for my original intent and beyond.

From Golden to Qor
I am familiar with this brand, as I was raised on Golden as a student. The range is balanced, with the many tubes being of a single pigment. The paint itself is of a consistent viscosity. I have experienced other brands that have separated in the tube upon receipt in new condition. Not the case with this Qor set. But what sold me was the tin. The lid contains many wells. Handy for mixing washes and less diluted applications. The tin will also suit my needs for the home studio and travel, as I can use it alongside my butcher tray and transfer my custom half pan palette into the tin. My only regret is not having discovered this before building my tubes palette.
