Light foam, good case, add 1” on inner base 4 snug fit
This is a good case to cover guitar from home elements which is what I was seeking.
I wouldn’t recommend for serious travel without internal foam reinforcement.
In hours leaning vertically half the case top foam shrinks to shell as well as the base guitar support shrinks to case shell.
The foam is not dense.
It’s an odd fit where the tremolo needs to be placed in a thoughtful way to prevent it being against the (I can bend) shell base and taking all the guitar weight, and the fit is spacious, not form fitting.
Shipping box shows as manufactured by Fender for Gretsch 2622T Center Block.
Suits my needs. Very clean inside and out. Lid has one clearly factory default curve trim slice on lid about 2mm from meeting but doesn’t reduce how it’s effective.
Clasps are very easy to close and are polished clean and closes easily, not firmly. Main clasp provides a loop to add a small lock.
I found that adding an inch of buffer at the base, in my case, the guitar strap (hardware towards shell), and I can’t move the guitar inside at all nor is it direct to shell contact. Except near waist now which holds and centers guitar.
