Chesp microphone that works

Bought a cheap Mike to be used in our village hall. Nothing special expected, just for calling out raffle ticket winners at events etc. Quite surprised at the quality. Really quite good. Bass is a bit lacking but mid range and treble are adequate. The supplied cable felt a bit feeble so we used a "proper" xlr / xlr cable. Perfectly fine microphone for making general announcements in an echoey place. You wouldn't use it for broadcast purposes but fine for p.a use.

Spectacle repair?

The kit is rather short of spectacle repair parts. There were 3 screws, and little else of what I wanted. The nose pads included are self adhesive, rather than screw fitted. There was also a lanyard and magnifying glass that are not repair items.

Pretty good for the price.

Bought this to use as a quick test for batteries, fuses, and odd electrical tests. It is really pretty good. Fairly accurate measuring dc and a.c. voltages. On the resistance ranges it is also pretty good. Better than +/- 10% from what I could judge. It's not a lab instrument, but good enough.
