Good product for the price
2 of 4 found this helpful This laser was installed on a 22 caliber pistol and was able to maintain its zero. It's ability on larger calibers is unknown and other users will need to give their input on this. When installed, the windage and elevation adjustments were readily accessible with the included hex wrench and the left to right on-off switch was crisp and firm. Battery access is good and the battery type is common and readily available at most stores. The laser is constructed from aluminum with a black anodized appearing finish. I personally feel metal is superior to polymer as it is less capable of movement at its attachment to a base or rail. For my applications, it was a very good product for the price. As far as improvements are concerned, it would be nice to have the switch activate from either direction with off in the center. Although this was not an issue for me, it would give this product a more universal application. It would also be nice to have a second locking bolt to secure the laser to its base. Since the laser was machined to accept a second bolt, I placed one there also. Since inadvertent pressure could be applied to the laser itself, causing a possible shift in point of impact, I felt a more secure attachment with the second bolt would lessen this likelihood..
