CD recorded in Mono not Stereo
This is a corrected review had the year wrong.
This disk is recorded in Mono. If you want a Monaural recording then this is the CD for you.
Other disks of this recording are in Stereo. Sound quality is OK, its just not in Stereo.
Looks like there is a 1956 and a 1957 version with a different cover. Still researching this. I did not see any label on the disk indication if it was stereo or mono.

Big Band Collectors Series - 6 CD - Sound is in Stereo and music was well played. A testament to the great music of the Early to Late 1940's. Fidelity was very good.
