Handy for biking
Works just like the original one-button garage door opener, dare I say a little better, because the button never gets stuck. (The originals occasionally do, as the clearance with the housing is a bit tight.) I clip one of these to my backpack strap so I can operate it on a bicycle. It's pretty handy.
(Someone needs to make these things in a form factor designed to mount to the rails under a bike seat!)

Nice, for what it is
Caveat: I'm not an enthusiast, I do maybe 20 to 25 miles a week. I don't know the good from the great, and I'm not going to spend $$$ to lose 20 grams. These pedals are entry-level, I'm sure, but I still like them a lot better than the heavy, no-name SPD pedals with action on both sides, that I've been using for years. Lighter, higher clearance (not that I really need super clearance), and they look nicer. Having the action on just one side does take a bit of getting used to: I don't know how everyone else does it, but for me, if I step down and it doesn't engage, I lift my foot for half a rotation, to flip it over.
That aside, all I really care about is that the pedal is unobtrusive, does its job, and holds securely yet is easy to get out of. Which these do and are.

Really nice crimper, cable tester is rudimentary
1 of 3 found this helpful A note of caution: the cable tester only tests that each contact is connected, and whether the two ends correspond pin for pin. Which is fine ... but it won't tell you anything about the signal quality. I have an old cat5 cable that was mistakenly wired 1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8 instead of 1+2, 3+6, 5+4, 7+8, and this cable tester can't tell the difference.
That said, this is an excellent value. I really like the outer insulation stripper - it's nicely spaced to not cut into the inner wires. I've used crimpers where you have to be really careful about that. Also, the crimping action produces more leverage than crimper designs I've used before, so you don't feel like you have to squeeze as hard. The crimper feels solid - I've only used it for a few cables, but it feels like it'll last.
The RJ45 plugs seem fine (unshielded, and no clip boots, but I'm fine with that). I've only used them on solid wire so I can't verify the claim that they are also suitable for stranded. Finally, the punch tool I haven't tried yet, it's not what I bought this for.
