Avon AV71 Cobra 130/70R18 Front Trike Tire

Avon AV71 Cobra Trike tire rocks!!!!!

This is the 2nd Avon AV71 Trike tire that I have used on my wife's Honda GL1800 trike and would highly recommend it. The 1st Avon trike tire we used we were able to get 16K miles and still had 1/16" tread left but I didn't want to take a chance on her having any handling problems. A new tire tread depth measures 7/32" deep at the center of the tire and I always run 40 psi and never had any cupping issues. The tire grips the road very well dry or wet pavement. The only issue (which wasn't a real issue) was the shop I got to mount the tire on the rim stated that a lot of mfg. usually have a dot to locate the tire to the valve stem and keep the amount of balance weights down but it balanced out great anyway. Since mounting the new tire we've been on a couple of 200+ mile rides (to break it in before we go on a long trip) and the bike handles great.
