cordless but not rechargeable
Works as designed but not designed as expected.
Product is cordless but not rechargeable. After reading product description, I assumed it operated like other cordless products and had to be rechargeable. I was wrong.
There is a cradle/base that is corded and has to be plugged. The iron rest in the cradle/base. There is some type of heating element in the iron that gets energized when in the cradle/ base. When the iron is removed from the cradle/base and iron is turned “on”, the heating element activates and heats up. Eventually, the heat dissipates and the iron needs to be returned to the cradle/ base to refresh the ability of the heating element to dispense heat.
