Nice lens for BMPCC
2 of 2 found this helpful Nice lens to film with on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. It has nice focus ring. It does not have manual aperture controll, but works to change aperature in camera.
Pros:
Nice colours and sharpness.
Small and light
Nice manual focus
F1.7
Cons:
Slight barrel distortion, but not noticable when filming
Lacks manual aperature control (it has but only works on Panasonic cameras and it has hard stops)
This lens will be used a lot.

The best image quality
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a camera for image quality enthusiasts. You simply cannot beat Foveon at normal ISO. It has the best menu system I have ever come across and using this camera in manual mode is even easier than in the 35mm analog days. Read up on it and get one.
The dp0 is a wide angle camera with practically zero distortion.

Easy fix
The glass on the kurio broke, but it was easy to replace it with this screen and the kurio was fully functional again.
