Beautiful, loving.
This book is remarkable for the beautiful exquisite expression of powerful emotions.
Those who love the English language would love this book.
Reading these letters is like reading poetry about love (both its pleasure and pain).
I would have loved to meet this lady and kissed her fingers, but she must have died decades before I was born.
The book was first published in Britain and the USA in 1900, and became an instant best seller.
I have a copy of the HB red-cover 1912 edition from my grand-father's library, now in my family antique collection.

Not bad for the price
Looks cheap, of low quality.
But then, how much can you expect from .99 cents !!
