I have been collecting and refurbishing Pragotron industrial wall clocks since 2017. These clocks represent nice example of clean and industrial design from the era of 50s-80s. The clocks were manufactured in former Czechoslovakia under brand Pragotron ( former Chronotechna in 50s ). They were used in public areas like schools, railway stations and factories. These clocks were controlled by minute polarized pulses from the master clock. These so called "slave clocks" were moving every minute and showing exactly the same time in the whole building/area. Now you can use these clocks only when the original clockwork is replaced with new one - silent QUARTZ 1.5V AA battery driven. I like the idea of re-using things. These clocks are made of solid materials ( metal frames and glass or bakelite frames and glass ) and ( when refurbished ) can still work for decades. The main thing I like on these clocks is their timeless design.
