It was for my daughter and she loves it.

Doesn't have some of the features it used to have
3 of 3 found this helpful My old SanDisk was easier to load playlists. All I had to do was sync with Windows Media Player and I could listen to mt playlists. This one requires making a folder on the computer and moving it to a folder on the SanDisk. It takes less loading time, but more choosing the songs time. Also, on the old player I could pick a genre to listen to. This one doesn't have that.
There are few good improvements: The power switch isn't on top, so it doesn't turn off when I go to clip it to my belt or pants pocket. And the music eq is easier to adjust.
