They will not replace a standard Alkaline C cell.
The 9500 Ultracell will not work in any of the 3 different items I purchased them for. The Positive terminal on the battery is near flush with the battery body and it is also to large of a diameter. If you set a 9500 beside a standard Alkaline C cell you will see a considerable difference in the top or the Positive end of the battery. The picture of this item is not representative of the items I received, the picture shows the Positive end to protrude above the body of the battery but they are near flush.

Excelent Replacement.
Works as intended and way better price than Sears.

Simple Carburetor
I had to purchase the carb due to the fact that no one could confirm the numbers on the one that this will replace. If the numbers could have checked out I would have only needed to purchase a new pump diaphragm or a rebuild kit.
To get to the review I was not happy when I opened the cellophane shipping envelope and found the carb. to only have one rap of 1/8" bubble wrap around it, very poor shipping practice. That was only the beginning, the choke lever was cracked due to the poor shipping. The next thing when I went to install the carb I found that the throttle shaft would not return to the idle position and after checking why,( it was determined by me a mechanic for 45 years ) I found that the throttle plate was not centered on the shaft and even had the throttle bore scored with an aluminum spall that was trapping the edge of the throttle plate.I feel that this was part of the manufacturing process and not the shipping. I feel the shipper needs to use other shipping materials other than plastic bags for fragile parts. Also the manufacture or the supplier should be doing some quality control.
