Love It!
This dough hook allows me to mix bread dough without an electric mixer or using a food processor. I find it easier to monitor glutton development with the dough hook than mixing bread dough in my electric mixer. I think the quality is just fine, mine has been going strong since I purchased it, and I am considering getting the smaller version.

Had Two, Won't Ever Buy Again
The best thing about this object is the touch of the keyboard. Unfortunately, the cover does not hold up if the unit is accidentally dropped. On one of my purchases, the keyboard also stopped working. The corners that hold the iPAD are just too fragile. What else is good: the weight and the look of the unit. For me, I found I would need a case for this case - and so I just went ahead and purchased a different model with more substance.

Works Well - Feels Sturdy
I purchased this product after the first one I had failed, with a crack on the side near where the "rod" inserts into the head of the KitchenAid Mixer. The refurbished unit feels better made - I think it may be a different vintage than the one I had. For small grind jobs - it's perfect. I used it to grind out lamb leg to make sausage and it went just great.
