Acceptable wear and tear for a 1990s scope
Considering the age of the 2465B, the one I bought had acceptable wear and tear. It's in good functional order and the only signs of use were:
a) Trigger level knob broken. I swapped it for the trigger holdoff knob, but for £30 or less you can buy a complete Tek 2465B front panel repair kit with all knobs and the panel itself.
b) Y input 1 BNC socket has a slightly dodgy connection
c) front cover has a chunk bitten out of it
Inside, the scope was clean and there was no 'HT muck' around the tube base. It is a truly excellent piece of equipment and a joy to use. The scope was sold 'basically working' but was not reconditioned and had no guarantee, so I got lucky!
The vendor's delivery charge from Canada to UK was over 200, which is exorbitant. Added to that were customs charges of 80, bringing the total scope cost to over £700. For about the same price, you can buy a reconditioned Tek 2465B from a UK company with a 1 year guarantee. If you're in UK I would advise you do this, but if you live in the US or Canada, it would be far better value for money.

Best higi stand I ever owned
The Blok stand is superb quality, elegant, and a delightfully simple design It's straightforward to assemble with the aid of the very clear instructions and the spacing of the shelves is well thought out.
The Blok comes with adustable feet for those who would use it on a non-carpeted floor.
I was concerned that when loaded it would be too heavy to move if one wanted to get good access to the rear of the unit, but I found that it was possible to drag it carefully forward when access was needed behind.
I really recommend this product - it's not cheap but it's worththe price.
