Chunky
This watch is too thick for me at 11mm, the diameter is 43mm plus 2.5 mm if you include the crown.
The picture masks the lack of style as you can't see the 11mm bland thickness, which is just vertical/flat with no shape
I will probably never wear it.

A simple fix, now like new
I read the reviews before buying, I had to use 2 shims about 20mm wide 0.2mm thick to compress the 2 friction pads to aid assembly.
Fortunately I had some brass strip to hand. They should be in the kit. Difficult without.

Superb,not the usual diameter.
The overall diameter of this 3 core cable is approximately 9mm, do not assume that is like the other skinny braided cable you see on EBay which 6 to 7mm in diameter.
This rope cable type is very suitable for a pendant light and has a old world farmhouse finish, the photos are accurate but do not do it justice.
