Clarity restored
I’ve always enjoyed this record and had the regular cd. I played it the other day and it really sounded flat.. so I saw this as having the original 67 mix and in sacd 24/96. Once it arrived I put it on and it came back to life. Nice to hear the cymbals and bells ring out.. peak hour really sounds good with great bottom end. I recommend this version if you are considering it.

If you’re a fan of Steely Dan this is definitely worth getting. 96/24 really adds depth and punch to the music. I was familiar with the hits but when it came out I liked earlier Dan better. After a few listens the whole album is really good.
