Best Small Tabletop Sawbench That You Can Buy !
Excellent quality, as per usual with Proxxon tools.( expensive, yes, but worth every penny! )
Pros:
This updated version of the best mini tablesaw on the market has vastly improved rip fencing and now has a really useful mitre fence extension as well. Supplied blade is great quality, and nice to see it is now the version with more teeth :)
Glad to see that the arbor is the same diameter as my older version :) I made adapters to fit the standard arbor that allow me to use engineers slitting saw blades up to 120mm in diameter. I work mainly with various very dense/fine grained hardwoods ( Box, Pear, Apple etc ) and having the capability to use very fine blades that can have up to 120/140 teeth, as well as coarser grades, which do give a superior finish with the very small sizes of wood that i use in my modelling hobby. Even the rather 'coarse' standard blade ( to me, lol! ) leaves a very good finish to the cuts, minimal cleanup/sanding is required.
Of course you do need 'zero clearance inserts for the blade/s, but they are very easy to make yourself :)
Cons:
I am mourning the loss of a variable spindle speed on the sawblade arbor. ( I have the earlier version that has variable speed as well )

80% of my metrology products are Moore & Wright.
I am 'old-school' and always prefer the analogue to digital.So i am very happy that this old and well respected
company still make analogue instruments for us old fogies :)
