Best strings out there
I play with the finesse of an intoxicated gorilla. I'm also very lazy, and don't change strings as often as I should. For me, DR's are more stable out of the box, last longer and sound better than other strings. They're all I use.

2 of 2 found this helpful Quality of this guitar is very impressive. Not one flaw in the fit or finish. It's very "vintage" style, and that includes the things people hated about the vintage ones. Alot of people have trouble with the bridge. Like everyone else, when I first started playing it, the height adjustment screws in the saddle would ride down. Easy fix with some Loctite and now it's golden. I actually own a Mastery bridge (it's on my Bigsby Tele) but havent felt the need to switch it out. The other thing people complain about is the lack of sustain. I think that unique sound is why you get a guitar like this and if you need massive amounts of sustain, there are other guitars that do that. I wasnt sure about the neck, which is a "C" and is fairly thin with low profile frets. Most of my necks are on the thicker side so i wasnt sure how this would work out. I have a pretty heavy right hand, and this guitar almost changes the way I play, but in a good way. One thing i'm not crazy about is the "pop in" arm on the trem, but it's kind of a minor complaint. The trem on this is unique compared to the Strat or the Bigsby. I play old time rock and roll, and this is the ideal guitar for it. Not sure how it responds to heavy distortion, but i suspect the wide variety of sounds you can get out of this thing would be wasted on that. Again, there are other guitars for that. The pickups are very touch sensitive and I find my amp doesnt have to be cranked to exploit that. Really clear sounding, so i can use some pretty heavy reverb and slapback without getting lost in the mix. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase and this thing is definitely a keeper.

It came out even better than I expected.
1 of 1 found this helpful I gave them a custom design, crudely hand drawn and scanned and they took it an ran with it and came up with a great decal that is now on my "custom" stratocaster. It looks as good as any of the other "F" brand decals I have used. Service was very quick and the quality was excellent. If I need more decals, these are the ones I'll use.
