Did exactly what I needed.

Everything works so far.
I have quite fine hair, which most shavers can't handle - razors stop cutting it after a day or two, and shavers stop cutting it after a month, unless I replace blades and foil or combs. New, this one works quite well, but I don't know yet how long. (The trimmer isn't so great - but I bought it to shave.) Someone else reviewed it well, and it wasn't super-expensive, so it was worth a try. I do wish I could find a decent corded shaver - recharging is always a pain in the neck for me. But that's life.
