2 of 2 found this helpful This year (2018) had a lot of apples, like 7 5gal buckets to deal with. To preserve them for the future use, we decided to peel (we bought peeler from other company) and part of it freeze, and the other part shred, cook for short time and stuff into jars with sealing covers. This form of preservation is excellent for future baking of apple pies or other tasty usage - no additive of any kind, just pure apples.
This rotary grater made our sheading work a breeze. We were initially skeptical, but later amazed how well it works. We have a granite countertop, so suction attachment worked well too. Easy to clean.
Pros:
Inexpensive, good looking, works well.
Cons:
Non - considering price.
