Great machine. Sturdy and easy to use. Try it & you'll buy it!
10 of 10 found this helpful While the machine I purchased was a Bernina Artista 185, which I love, I do own a 1630. I have used it for 20-some years, carrying it on trips a number of times a year. I have had some very minor repairs and I have it professionally cleaned once a year--nothing major.
The 1630 has a small but easy-to-read screen, which is accessed by a trackball. The trackball takes a little getting used to, but, in my opinion, is easier to use than later models' methods. The machine cord rolls into the machine and the foot pedal cord rolls into the pedal.
All in all, I would recommend this machine to anyone who sews, quilts, or does decorative stitching. Berninas in general are excellent and this one stands out. My daughter is NOT getting it!

This product does its job as advertised.
This Coffee mill is very satisfactory. It performs as advertised. Although it does not grind the coffee fine enough for Espresso, as I had presumed it would, it was not specifically advertised to do so.

A Lovely Violet
This violet is slightly more temperature- and moisture-sensitive than most, but with care it thrives and produces profuse and lovely blooms.
