FTF (File-To-Fit)

The handle fit in the tailgate just fine, all the screw holes lined up; BUT the plastic handle didn't fit the top edge of the hole! I had to file nearly 1/8th of an inch off the top of the handle to get it to fit properly. It still needs a gentle nudge to drop in the way it should. I should probably take another 1/16th of an inch off of it. All things considered, I am happy. The tailgate unlatches just like it should now.

It works!

Appears to be good; we shall see...

No snow yet. I do wish it was the tapered D.O.T. style plow, though. Oh, well, I have used the straight blade plow in the past, I can do it again. Easy installation, even for this 82 year old retired mechanic!
