Rip them across the surface and piss off some bluefish.
Last weekend we couldn't coax any blues up using topwater baits. Then we started burning these lures a few inches beneath the waves. The tail on this lure twirls as you retrieve it and the blues couldn't ignore it. Actually, they're meant to be dragged across a sandy sea floor. It's supposed to be a sand lance imitator.

Bought these for albacore
Have not used them in the salt yet. Should look close enough peanut bunker.
