ineffective for my purpose
I have a Garmin 60CSx and have an accuracy problem mapping hiking trails in a deep canyon with heavy tree cover caused (apparently) by poor satellite reception. I purchased this antenna as a long shot to improve accuracy but the situation actually got a bit worse. The external antenna increased error about 25% over the raw GPS unit. I assume the unit antenna is disabled when plugging in the external antenna. I don't wish this to be a bad review. The antenna does not work in my case which is a challenging situation. It may work better elsewhere so while I don't recommend it neither do I say it is a bad buy. I do like the inexpensive price which made my test easy on the wallet.

Pleasant Surprise
I did not understand that this caboose was all metal (although the title clearly stated "die-cast") and I would not have bought it if I had known. But I love NY Central and thought a nice looking car so I bought it. Now that I have it I am delighted with both the detail and quality. It is very heavy so it won't be bringing up the rear of a long train of plastic cars but, it will be displayed proudly in the caboose pool in the yard. This is one of those mistakes one makes that turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
