12.7mm Universal SATA 2nd HDD SSD Hard Drive Caddy for CD/DVD-ROM Optical Bay
Jul 01, 2017
An inexpensive solution to get the job done
The 2.5" SSD this caddy would be holding fit perfectly. The caddy had small pieces of plastic stuck to it, but it fit into my HP Compac laptop with only a little wiggling. What's also cool is that the faceplate is swappable with your optical drive, so you can make it look like nothing has changed from the outside of your laptop. There aren't any instructions included on how to do this, but it's somewhat straightforward once you figure out how the plastic snaps work. My only real complaint is that the anchor bracket screw holes were slightly too small for the screws coming from my optical drive. The optical drive had a little metal bracket attached to it with three little screws which is then anchored to the body of the laptop with another screw to secure it. Amazingly, this caddy already had the same attachment points threaded on it so I could attach the anchor bracket. For some reason though, the threading was slightly too small so the screws only went in 80% of the way. This was just enough to get a good anchor in the laptop, but these designs must be standard or something so I'm disappointed that this detail was slightly off. All in all this was a cheap solution to add a second hard drive to my laptop.
Coaxial Compression Tool Coax Cable Crimper with 20pcs F RG6 RG59 Connectors
Mar 25, 2023
If you want a good tool, buy name-brand.
As others are saying, this set of ends and tools is very cheap and not build to last. The hinges in the crimping tool aren't riveted and slide out, allowing the tool to fall apart. The F connectors also fall apart quite easily. I had to crimp some quad-shield RG6 which I thought may have been incompatible, but it is possible to do and get good signal. Once the cable is cut and trimmed properly, gently start twisting one of the ends on to it. More than likely, the bottom shell of the connector will start to slide off of the inner core. At this point, insert the end of the cable into the crimper making sure to apply pressure to the inner core of the connector. If that doesn't work, use a small flathead screwdriver and a hammer to tap the inner core so it sits fliush with the dielectric of the cable. You may also need to put the end back in the crimping tool, and use the screwdriver + hammer to tap the crimping shell back down so it sits flush with connector screw head. After that, you may need to crimp twice, flipping the cable 180 degrees to get both sides of the connector's collar. Long story short, stick to buying name brand tools if you want them to last.
Apple 2pcs x 4GB Memory 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SODIMMs MC702G/A

Just like any other memory
At this point, most laptop memory is pretty indistinguishable. This memory is not special Apple memory; it will work in any PC that accepts the format.
