Performance is great; initial set-up is horrible, you will need to add more memory.
This is the 2nd exact same model I've owned; the first one got stolen from checked luggage!! A word of caution . . . this model has only 8GB of internal memory and comes with two map sets (North America and World), each of which consumes 3+ GB of memory. So there is not enough memory left to download and update either set of maps! Fortunately, the GPS has a slot into which you can add a micro-SD memory card. In my case, the slot did not align well with the metal contacts on the circuit board; it took a bit of jimmying around before I could get the memory card seated correctly. A cheapie, class 3, 8GB finally worked OK. A nice, new, class 10, 32GB card would not work at all. Instructions on the web are confusing; ALWAYS format the new memory card after it is inserted, even with a brand new card. OK, I finally got things workiing. On the bad side, the internal speaker is terrible; very tinny sound. Difficult to understand the voice guidance when driving.
